Ok, so basically we have black-owned businesses growing. This is good. However, despite this growth, statistics show that African Americans make up 13% of the population in America, and yet only make up 7% of American businesses. The recession hit black owned businesses especially hard.

Now i think the entire article is kinda like a way of saying "woohoo! we did it!" and that is all good and well, but i feel like the emphasis is put on the wrong areas. It shows that Black owned companies are booming, but the real problem is that American businesses in general are NOT. While that may be harsh its the truth and we can't get around it.

Hey look, the Chinese are expanding!...shocker...Ronnie Chan, newly named chairman of Hang Lung Properties is spending 5.1 billion dollars to build more malls in china. The entire article just talks about how this plan is gonna work because he is some business genius and everyone supports him, no matter how crazy he may get.

So no one should be surprised by this; It is a Chinese person building buildings in China. Now, I know what you are thinking: "But where will they find room in China to build more crap?" They are Asian and I'm sure they will figure something out. This guy has the money, has the power, and has the balls to just go for it, and he is, in my opinion, going to be successful for a short period of time, then, when China's economy collapses like ours did during the great depression, it'll be over. Good luck Ronnie:)
