Christy Warner: A Woman With a Plan

Now Christy was what I like to call a genius. She got into her market at the right time, took over for virtually nothing, and got out just in time to save her butt. Not to mention that she loved me. But seriously, she really is a business connoisseur. When i heard “I used to own a temp agency,” what registered was “I don’t know anything about the real business world.” I was pleasantly surprised to find that Christy was a real business owner. She was the kind of person who started down at the bottom and worked her way up from there, which is respectable to say the least. She was a very interesting speaker and she gave us candy....that is a definite YES! She was very informative on the CORRECT process for applying and getting a real job.

ERIC GARDINER

Eric is a very interesting man. He has been extremely successful, which is probably made him so interesting to listen to. He started Panesea, an artist managing company (and agency) forty years ago and started by managing big name bands like the Grateful Dead. Through the years he managed The Who, then got into actors and what not. He is amazing and I really enjoyed his talk

Although he was a little slower, when talking, you could tell that he had a good head on his shoulders and was a forward thinking, planner. He was destined for success. However, I disagree with one of the points that he made. At one point he said that we were lucky because there are college classes and people to tell you to do in the music managerial industry. I feel the opposite. Due to the fact that there is all of this ability to get into the industry, soooooooo many people try to get in and it is increasingly ridiculously competitive.

Laurie Cronenbold

Laurie was a wonderful woman with an exceptional idea. She showed us how to cover up our sensitive business ideals. The reason that this was so comforting was her elastic personality. She was so full of cushiony approachable love. Her love for her family pushed her into the world of athletic protection. I really enjoyed her visit, however, I feel she lacked business sense. Everything that she had done for her company was very linear. It lacked depth and personal ability. Don't get me wrong, she had a great idea. I just think that she should let someone else take it to its true potential.
